Thomas
Nolan
President and CEO
Thomas Nolan brings over 25 years experience in the senior
management ranks of technology companies to Kyberpass. Tom
was president and CEO of Xcert International, based in Walnut
Creek, California, a leading provider of PKI-based security
technology until its acquisition by RSA Security Inc. in early
2001. At Xcert he increased the companyÎs valuation from $5
million to $150 million and achieved 100% year over year revenue
growth. Prior to joining Xcert, he was the principal of The
Nolan Group where he acted as a virtual CFO for companies
such as Documentum Inc., Semaphore Communications and Seismic
Entertainment Software. Tom has also held positions as the
VP Finance and CFO for several Xerox Technology Ventures financed
companies, Phaser Systems Inc., Microcellular Systems Inc.,
NKH Inc. and Loral Corporation. He is a Certified Public Accountant
and a member of the California Society and the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants.

Rand
Haverty
CTO and co-founder
Rand has over 25 years in information technology consulting
and development, and significant expertise in public key infrastructure
(PKI) and is a well-respected consultant in the information
security field. He joined The Devon Group Ltd. in 1990 as
Senior Technology Architect and was named Vice-President Research
and Development of Devon Software, Kyberpass Corporation's
forerunner in 1995. He is the lead Architect on the Kyberpass
research and development team and is responsible for overall
product design. During his career he was Chief Architect for
the Receiver General of Canada Electronic Payment Authorization
System and as Chief Architect and developer of the design
specification for the Maritime Command Operational Information
System (MCOIN III), a comprehensive system designed to operate
in a highly secure and complex network environment. Also,
he served as a Technology Architect with LGS Group Inc. In
1979, he co-founded Ultracom Consulting Corp., a successful
Ottawa-based consulting company, where he held the position
of Managing Director. He is active in the Government of Canada
PKI standards organizations and has developed extensive expertise
in public key infrastructure and related technologies including
cryptography.

Sandy
Sutherland
Vice President, Engineering
Robert A. (Sandy) Sutherland, Vice President of Engineering,
joins Kyberpass after serving in technical management positions
in ThoughtWorks, Infowave Software, Xcert International, Nortel
Networks, Lockheed Martin, Loral and Unisys. These were preceded
by a distinguished Naval engineering career that included
service at sea, as well as training and technical development
positions. Sandy was a pioneer in the development of digital
control systems for naval propulsion. He was the deputy manager
of the project which delivered 12 new warships to Canada's
navy, then commanded in turn the navy's engineering and software
design facility in Halifax, N.S. and its dockyard in Victoria,
B.C. Sandy is a graduate of the Royal Military College of
Canada, the Royal Naval Engineering College, the Canadian
Forces Command and Staff College and the National Defence
College of Canada. He is a registered Professional Engineer
in the Province of Ontario and a member of IEEE.

Ed
Murrer
Vice President, Marketing
Ed Murrer, Vice President of Marketing, heads the company's
marketing and product management groups. Most recently, Mr.
Murrer was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Persistence
Software, a supplier of real-time data management software
for global enterprises. He was also Senior Vice President
of Sales and Marketing at Xcert International until its sale
to RSA Security in early 2001. For over 20 years Mr. Murrer
has managed marketing and sales operations for a variety of
companies including Veridicom Inc., a Lucent Technologies
spin-off, Identix, and Silicon Graphics. He holds BSME and
MSME degrees from Purdue University.

Stephen
Ruyter
Director, Finance
Steve Ruyter has worked in the high technology field in finance
for more than 16 years and for software development firms
for the last 12 years. As a senior member of local high tech
companies, SteveÎs roles have included the preparation and
management of budgets in excess of $42 million and the sale
and subsequent senior management of Information Technology
companies. Prior to Kyberpass, Steve was Director of Finance
at Dataware/Megalith Technologies managing financial and administration
functions. Steve also gained extensive experience in high-volume
contract financing for Martin Marietta, a US-based international
defence contractor. Steve holds a CMA, is a member of the
Society of Management Accountants and is a graduate of Carleton
University and the University of Ottawa.
