Kyberpass Digital Signature Plug-In for the Identrus System Completes
Testing
Kyberpass K2 Trust Agent to be installed
in the Identrus Vendor Environment

KyberpassÐ Corporation, a leading provider of e-security software
for trusted e-business, today announced that the Kyberpass K2æ Trust
Agent has successfully completed Identrus interoperability testing
at the Identrusæ labs in New York City. Identrus, founded in April
1999, is creating a worldwide network of trusted financial institutions
to remove the final obstacle to business-to-business e-commerce:
trust in a trading partner's identity.
The Kyberpass K2 Trust Agent is an easy to use signing utility that
integrates digital signatures and non-repudiation into Identrus
B2B transactions. The signing utility allows Identrus subscribing
customers (the buyers) to access their private signing key and certificate
stored on an Identrus approved PKCS#11 enabled smart card or token.
The Kyberpass K2 Trust Agent joins the Kyberpass Transaction Coordinator
in the Identrus Vendor Environment. The Kyberpass K2 Trust Agent
is one part of the Kyberpass e-Transaction TrustPlatformæ, the only
fully integrated —four-cornerÈ model currently available from a
single software vendor developing solutions for the Identrus system.

The Identrus system is expected to grow to include 300 of the world's
largest financial institutions, in addition to Level 2 members,
which are expected to number into the thousands. Each Subscribing
Customer will be required to have a signing plug-in as part of its
Identrus infrastructure.
The Kyberpass e-Transaction TrustPlatform for the Identrus system
is a suite of fifth-generation e-security software products that
unleash the power of the Identrus PKI-based system by enabling rapid
and transparent integration of security and trust functions for
applications, without any development, use of PKI toolkits, or platform

To create trust in a trading partner«s identity, Identrus financial
institutions certify their corporate customers as trading partners
on the Internet. These trading partners use the Identrus system
to conclusively identify one another through their financial institutions,
ensure their communications are secure, and create an indisputable
record of their transactions. With these capabilities, they can
conduct Internet business with confidence, opening new markets around
the world and lowering transaction costs. The infrastructure is

Pricing and Availability
The Kyberpass e-Transaction TrustPlatform including K2 Trust Agent
will be widely available in May 2001. Platforms supported include
Solaris and Windows NT/2000. Kyberpass offers a number of flexible
pricing plans for Identrus member financial institutions, including
application-based, transaction-based or certificate-based models.
