Kyberpass OCSP Responder Receives Identrus Compliant Status
Record setting transaction volumes on Microsoft
Windows 2000 Datacenter delivers performance breakthrough for digital
certificate validation solutions
OTTAWA,
November 20, 2001 – Kyberpass® Corporation,
a leading provider of e-security software for trusted e-business,
today announced that its Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)
Responder branded as the Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform™,
has successfully completed interoperability testing and is now Identrus™
Compliant.
The Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform joins the Kyberpass Digital
Signature Messaging System (DSMS) and the Kyberpass Transaction
Coordinator (TC) as integral components of the Trusted Community
Solution (TCS), a packaged solution of Identrus Compliant architecture
for the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Datacenter Server. TCS
was developed earlier this year in an alliance among Unisys (NYSE:
UIS), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Baltimore Technologies (London:
BLM).
The Kyberpass Validation TrustPlatform — an OCSP-based validation
solution enabling financial institutions to quickly and easily deploy
e-transaction validation systems for B2B e-commerce transactions
— received Identrus Compliant status following installation
and testing on the Unisys ES7000 running Windows 2000 Datacenter
Server at the Microsoft labs in Redmond, Washington.
“Testing in the Microsoft labs confirmed that the Kyberpass
Validation TrustPlatform running on Windows 2000 Datacenter delivered
more than 10,000 OCSP validations per minute and exceeded Identrus
performance specifications by a factor of ten,” said Robert

of Windows 2000 and our OCSP responder provides Identrus financial
institutions with the ability to facilitate financial and non-financial
commercial transactions across the Internet with the speed and trust
demanded by the marketplace."

The Kyberpass e-Transaction TrustPlatform for the Identrus System
