to OEM Identrus Technology from Kyberpass
OTTAWA, September 3, 2002
– Kyberpass® Corporation, a leading provider of e-security
software for trusted e-business, and Baltimore Technologies (London:BLM),
a global leader in e-security, today announced an agreement that
will see Baltimore OEM Kyberpass’ digital signature messaging
system (DSMS), for its Identrus Express offering. Identrus enables
businesses to actively manage e-commerce risks through trusted relationships
with financial institutions.
As an Express Partner of Identrus, Baltimore offers global financial
institutions security solutions from best-of-breed technologies
that have gained Identrus certification. The Kyberpass implementation
of the Identrus DSMS offers an integrated set of system services
that can be called by merchants’ business applications to
request trust and value-added services from their financial institution
using the Identrus system. Baltimore chose Kyberpass because of
the unique application-based architecture of its DSMS that eliminates
the need to make time consuming and costly changes to a merchant’s
application.
