KyberWIN™ Client Software

KyberWIN™ is an easy to install transparent desktop application that works in conjunction with the KyberPASS™ Security Server to enable secure and authenticated connection to enterprise servers over public networks.

KyberWIN™ acts as middleware between the network application and the network operating system, automatically making the application PKI enabled. Any legacy application or commercial off the shelf software which implements the TCP/IP protocol is enabled for PKI by KyberWIN™

  • Operates on any Win 3.x, Windows 95®, Windows 98® or Windows NT® desktop or mobile computer.
  • Users can be authenticated and a secure, encrypted communications link can be established with host systems and legacy applications over un-trusted public networks
  • Eliminates the security shortfalls inherent in dial-back modems, one-time password generators and other physical security schemes.
  • Adds a user's digital signature to every data packet sent. This provides the enterprise with non-repudiation and full audit capabilities for each event during a session
  • Supports any WINSOCK 1.1 compliant application without any modification
  • Operates transparently with standard TCP/IP stack.
  • Does not replace any Microsoft® binaries including WINSOCK ensuring Microsoft® compatibility

  • Supports private key tokens stored on hard disks, diskettes, PCMCIA cards and PKCS-11 compliant smart cards and biometric devices.
  • Full support for MS Networking over public networks when used in conjunction with the KyberPASS Microsoft® Networking Plug-IN.
  • Application programmer interface allowing customer applications access to KyberPASS authentication and digital signature services

Minimum System Requirements

  • Intel® 386 or higher personal computer
  • At least 4MB RAM
  • Hard disk drive with at least 10 MB of free disk space
  • Video board and monitor capable of running at least VGA
  • Windows version 3.1, 3.11, Win95, Win98 or Windows NT 3.5.1 (or higher) workstation
