A high-trust application is one
where individuals using the application meet authentication,
authorization, and accounting (AAA) rules. It is also one
where the output of the application - for example a document
- is secure and auditable. The key is to electronically link
an individual to the use and output of an application and
to do it in a way that meets regulatory and legal requirements.
Electronic signatures are ideally suited to this task, but
historically, they have been difficult to implement in corporate
Extranets. The Kyberpass TrustPlatform provides the underpinnings
of an enterprise-wide security infrastructure, which bridges
the gap between security and applications. On one side the
Kyberpass TrustPlatform is linked to an application through
a comprehensive application programming interface (API), and
on the other side, to a secure, standards-based, trusted third
party (TTP).

The Kyberpass TrustPlatform
thus forms an abstraction layer between the application and
the security components in a seamless and efficient manner.
This is all accomplished with minimal disruption to applications
and operations.
