Kyberpass Security Server Administrator Training
The Kyberpass Security Server Overview course is designed to provide
an understanding of the concepts related to Kyberpass middleware
client/server software architecture that uses a PKI to provide:
- Strong user authentication while providing a single sign-on
architecture
- Digital signatures for non-repudiation
- A directed virtual private network (VPN) for each TCP/IP application
session
- Enforced centralized policy management, which controls access
to all network applications and servers
- Analysis of application traffic of services to desktop and server
applications
- Centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting of important network
events
- Secure, high-quality and real-time communications for enterprises
communicating over public networks
- Knowledge and skills to install and configure the Kyberpass
Server/Client software.

- Technical staff with a need to understand the concepts, features,
functionality, installation, configuration or administration of
the Kyberpass Security Server and client software
Prerequisites
- Students are typically accomplished network administrators,
firewall administrators, and site security administrators
- Students should be knowledgeable about public key infrastructure
(PKI), X.500 Directories, the LDAP protocol, certificate revocation
lists (CRL), secure sockets layer (SSL) and TCP/IP
- Students should be familiar with Network Operating Systems (Windows
NT/2000, UNIX) and Network Infrastructures (routers, firewalls
and DNS)
